This half day trip is devoted to the beautiful kasbahs of Ouarzazate and its surroundings. We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou considered protected historical site by UNESCO and the visit of Ksar then continue to visit the Tifoultoute Kasbah. A short break to enjoy a mint tea, return to Ouarzazate for the visit of the Taourirte Kasbah former residence of the Pasha Glaoui also we can visit the museum of cinema located in front of the Kasbah.
Morning departure from Ouarzazate by the trail to the High Atlas Mountains chain, via the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou regarded as a historical site classified by the World Heritage of UNESCO. Visit the village. Afterwards, we continue our journey to explore the Berber villages throughout the valley of Ounila. Arriving to Telouat, we lunch on site prior to go on visit of the Kasbah of the Pasha Glaoui. Return to Ouarzazate by the road linking Marrakech to Ouarzazate.
Morning departure from Ouarzazate via the “rocky Plateau” to find a beautiful oasis hidden along the river. Once there, we go on walk to visit the village enjoying the beautiful scenery of the place. We will be asked for a glass of mint tea. Return to Ouarzazate.
Draa valley excursion
Morning departure from Ouarzazate to Zagora through the Anti Atlas Mountains by the neck of Ait Saoun to reach the village of Agdz. Then we take the track of caravans which will allow us to get to the bottom of the valley draa through the magnificent palm grooves. A visit of Tamnougalte Kasbah then we continue the trail enjoying the scenery of the south to Zagora. A short visit to Tamgroute to see the Koranic library with its collection of ancient religious books and pottery. Later we reach the sand dunes Tinfou. Back to Zagora for lunch at a local restaurant. At the end of the day back to Ouarzazate via the Draa valley. Arrival at Ouarzazate around 18:30.
This day trip will take us to Tinghir, known destination for its beautiful palm groves. Passing by the palm of Skoura where we will visit the Kasbah of Amrédhyle, then we continue the road of thousand Kasbahs to reach the city of roses Kelaa M’gouna known for its annual festival “Festival of Roses.” Then we go through to get to Boumalne. Tinghir is where we change our direction to get to Todgha gorges located at 12 km from Tinghir. Once there, at the fabulous and impressive canyons of 300 meters in height we will walk along these grooves and admire these natural wonders. Lunch at a local restaurant enjoying a nice view and beautiful landscapes. In the afternonn, return to Ouarzazate.
This day trip is devoted to visit both the Dades valley and the valley of roses, whose capital is the city of Kelaa M’Gouna also called the city of roses and is known for its annual festival “Festival of Roses” This festival is an opportunity for locals to sell their handicrafts and products extracted from roses (rose water, perfumes, soaps and creams …). This trip will let you see the landscapes of mountains and remote villages with panoramic views over the valley. We’ll take the road that leads to the Dades Gorges and its massive canyons. Lunch in a restaurant enjoying a pleasant view of the Dades Gorges. In the afternoon, return to Ouarzazate through the Dades valley and the palmary of Skoura.
Leaving Ouarzazate by the track to reach the village of Tiguert located at the foot of the High Atlas mountains. You will be greeted by a Berber family who invites you for tea with mint. You’ll climb mountains on a donkey with a local guide to search for the amethyst. Lunch in the village with a Berber family. In the afternoon return to Ouarzazate.
